Surround Sound Tube Headphone Launch
This November, 2004 Tube Surround Headphone Inventor and CEO Yul Anderson will introduce the TSH 6.0 Surround Sound Tube Headphone to Europe. Anderson’s Surround Sound Tube Headphone was probably the most unusual concept of all at this year's MIDEM.
According to an article in audioworld, “the headphone is a black tube that wraps around the head unlike conventional headphones. Yul Anderson, claims his headphone provides far better all round sound than the 2.0 stereo phones or even the other 5.1 surround sound headphones on the market that provide the digital magic but not the ambiance”.
These claims are supported by Denmark leading electronics retail chain headphone buyer Fona who have heard the tube headphone and confirms Anderson claim in a statement saying, “In opposition to ordinary headphones and other surround headphones on the market, The Tube gives you a real feeling of surround. When listening to the scene from Matrix with a helicopter you get the feeling that it moves around you, which off course is the basic idea with surround sound, and this has not been achieved by any other.

In another article written by MIDEM 2004 Daily News, Mr. Anderson states that, "with the advent of the new tube headphones the whole world will have to switch to 5.1. It’s a change that will infuse a whole new energy and life into the world of music”
Anderson’s bold statement although seemingly premature at that time, has rung true in the ears of many software developers and audio content manufactures. The company says the product supports games, DVD, and other products that offer 5.1 sound output.
